I am Sven Franssen and I will blog for Scouting Talents. I have run a world wide network, discovering outstanding young football (soccer) talents all over the world since 2001. I have travelled to a lot of different places and visited many events and tournaments finding future stars.
My favourite tournament is the U20 Sao Paolo Cup in Brazil, a tournament with 64 teams and over 1,000 young players under 20 from all the important Clubs in Brazil. It is amazing how much football talent you can discover here.

I am also proud of our project with FAK-REM Football Academy/Club in Lagos, Nigeria managed by Francis Akinsode. I admire his work and efforts he puts into this family-owned Academy to help to develop young Nigerian football players into football professionals.


Based on prior experience, I am confident that we will continue to discover and develop a lot of talented youngsters who will become professional football players. I am ably assisted by a network of staff and associates all over the world who help me to find the finest young talent that is out there.
