The leaking of albums has climbed to a new high this year, and it is only expected to get worse, artists will have to do a better job of protecting their work before release. Rapper Kanye West experienced this situation of the weekend, when one of the songs from his upcoming album "808s and Heartbreak," "Robocop" was leaked to the net . 08th October 2008 : “Get Up” Drops and Love Lockdown Video Released50 Cent - Get Up - Kanye West - Lock Lockdown
"You dudes better follow instructions/ I said, 'Get up'”. Says Rapper 50 Cent in "Get Up" the first single off his upcoming album "Before I Self Destruct", which was released still only hours ago. Also, Rapper Kanye West who was on the Ellen Show yesterday, released the video for his NO. 3 on the Billboard 100 single "Love Lockdown". In place of the “Little Drummer Boy” Enya sings of the “One Toy Soldier” whom asks “Who can mend my broken drum? / Will it be as good as new?” The album continues with “The Spirit of Christmas Past” which seeks to inspire those who are depressed by the season with words of encouragement “Believe in what I say/ Don't throw this time away/ Tomorrow will be Christmas Day”. “My! My! Time Flies!” I feel, is the most eccentric track on the album, and exhibits more extensive synthesizing of her voice.
