08th August 2008 : Did L'Oreal Make Beyonce Look White?Beyonce Made To Look White. I could not believe what I was reading today.. Apparently cosmetics giant L'oreal made Beyonce look WHITE in an advert. What a crock of shit.... she doesn't look white to me, yes, lighter, but that can be the camera flash.  Some people said that Beyonce looked almost unrecognizable with a bizarre light complexion and reddish-blonde hair. Now it seems to have sparked outrage across America. Like it always does... Well I knew it was her and I wear glasses, big ones, like magnifying glasses... The New York Post called the picture “shocking” and accused L’Oreal of making Beyonce, look like a “weird, nearly white version of herself.” I also think the New York Times is just making matters worse and not helping... This thing about black and white just will just never stop, when newspapers print this sort of stuff... Even a British best-selling black newspaper The Voice said it would be “disgusted” if the image had been “whitewashed”. Does he have proof of this? probably not... why have a "Black Newspaper" does this not just make matters worse. Why not just have a "Newspaper". Why have "BET - Black Entertainment Awards" Does this help matters? Just have an "Entertainment Awards" for every one black, white, brown, yellow.. whatever color. “On Top of the World”, which features Ludacris is one of the few party anthems, “I used to dream oh whoah/ about the money and the cars and girls/ but now I sing oh whoah/ because I’m sitting on top of the world”, shows that these two, like most rappers, know how to brag of their riches…can’t hate um for that, can we? The album’s second single “Whatever You Like” which made a record leap to number one on the Billboard Hot 100 (before Britney’s Womanizer trumped it) features the artist exhibiting what would be some singing talent as he tells a lady “Go get it/ I’ll buy it/ Tell em other broke niggas be quiet”
