It is our sincere belief that ‘Micro-Media’ is the future of all media – whether it be subject specific magazines; TiVo; Genre Radio or The Internet. People are increasingly able to find media outlets that support their own specific fields of interest and can tailor their entertainment to their own desires.
Big Blog Media is an attempt to address this trend by a group of guys with an entirely varied range of interests, but with a common interest in The Net. We all came to blogging in different ways but have pooled our (*cough*) ‘talents’ to see how far we can take this thing.
Of course, we’ve launched with something more than a respectful nod to commercialism in that many of our start-up sites are aimed at a more populist culture than perhaps we represent ourselves, but as Dave the Gooner put it; “A record label needs boy bands in order to fund their more culturally valid artists”.
So where do we find our niche? Well, we’ve decided that the best way to go is to start with a completely ‘open-minded’ approach. If you’ve got an interest or an opinion, you can blog here. We’re all about giving space to a huge plethora of outlooks.
Whatever your area of interest, if you want the space to express them, let us know.
We’re new, so we don’t mind if you are. Get in touch with us:
